Medical bath for air-carbon dioxide procedures

кегоешнщш

The bath is intended for the treatment and prevention of various diseases by exposing the body to carbon dioxide in different concentrations. During the procedure, the patient is placed sitting in a special sealed bath with a door; the top of the bath is closed with a dense membrane with a hole for the head; the space around the neck is gently wrapped with a cuff, preventing the entry of carbon dioxide from the device. Thus, the patient breathes normal air, and the gas remains only inside the bath.
One of the main purposes of the procedure is to increase the oxygen content in the patient’s blood, its delivery to vital organs: the heart and brain, and the acceleration of metabolic and regenerative processes in the body. That is why these procedures are indicated for the prevention and rehabilitation after such serious diseases as stroke and myocardial infarction.
In the body, hemoglobin works by “barter”; it gives oxygen to tissues only if it receives carbon dioxide in exchange. If there is not enough carbon dioxide, then oxygen does not pass to the tissues. Hypoxia (oxygen deficiency) occurs in tissues and internal organs. This is how spasms occur in the body, leading to the development of hypertension, coronary heart disease, obesity, diabetes and other diseases. Carbon dioxide baths naturally restore the normal content of carbon dioxide in arterial blood, dilate capillaries, improve blood circulation in all organs, normalize metabolic processes in the muscles of the heart and limbs, and stimulate the functioning of the respiratory center.
The procedure can also be used to quickly restore the physical shape of athletes after injuries and intense training, and people whose profession is associated with stress and active physical work. Carbon dioxide has a beneficial effect on the vessels of the lower extremities, especially after exercise. The tone of the vascular walls increases and the venous outflow of blood improves.
Carbon dioxide baths have a beneficial effect on the body's immune system, activate the processes of resistance to external adverse factors, and also prevent premature aging.
The dry carbon dioxide bath is convenient for the patient to enter and exit, has a height-adjustable chair with a backrest and increased internal volume. The internal surfaces of the bath are heated to a comfortable temperature set by the operator.
Procedures are controlled using a color LCD display. Before starting work, the doctor can create and save 4 main programs in the device’s memory, which will facilitate and speed up work in the future. The display also shows the time and concentration of CO2 during the filling of the device with gas and the decrease in its concentration after completion of the procedure. The gas-air mixture is removed by a specialized fan for 1 minute 15 seconds through an outlet pipe outside the room with a diameter of 32 mm.
To increase environmental friendliness and save carbon dioxide, the “patient weight” parameter has been introduced, which allows you to more accurately calculate its volume relative to the volume of the bath. This addition will allow for 15% more procedures and will reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.

The increased internal volume of the bath is suitable for patients of any height and build, while the external dimensions of the bath are small. A chair with a backrest, adjustable in height, ensures patient comfort during the procedure. A soft cuff around the neck reliably protects against carbon dioxide entering the respiratory tract.

The CO2 concentration in the chamber is set via the control panel (ranging from 5 to 55%). Once the procedure is complete, carbon dioxide is safely removed from the chamber through a pipe using a fan within a minute.

Design features:
- A sealed fiberglass body and a door with a closer eliminate the leakage of carbon dioxide;
- The inner surface is heated to a temperature of 25–33˚С (the temperature is set by the operator);
- During the procedure, the humidity in the chamber is maintained by supplying steam: this significantly increases the diffusion of carbon dioxide into the bloodstream and increases the effectiveness of the procedure;
- Control panel – touch color LCD display with a user-friendly interface. The display also shows changes in carbon dioxide concentration and procedure time.
- The specialist performing the procedure can save the specified parameters in the device’s memory and use them in the future.
- Memory is designed for 4 individual programs;
- The “Patient Weight” parameter has been introduced into the software control: this allows you to more accurately calculate the amount of CO2 and increase the number of procedures dispensed from one cylinder to 15%.
